Mindy Hammann Named Developmental Services/Community Associates Program Director at CSAC
Middlebury, VT — [August 2025] — The Counseling Service of Addison County (CSAC) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mindy Hammann as Developmental Services/Community Associates Program Director.
Hammann, a familiar face to many in the community, returns to CSAC after previously serving for many years as a Service Coordinator. Most recently, she’s served as CSAC’s Interim Developmental Services Director. Her professional background also includes roles at the Office of Public Guardian and with the Department of Defense - Vermont Army National Guard.
“Mindy brings deep knowledge, a strong work ethic, and a passion for supporting individuals with developmental disabilities,” said Rachel Lee, Executive Director of CSAC. “She stood out during a highly competitive and inclusive search process that engaged staff, clients, family members, and guardians. We’re thrilled to welcome her into this leadership role.”
CSAC’s Community Associates program supports adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in living meaningful and self-directed lives in their communities. The program has navigated several transitions over the past year and Hammann’s appointment marks a new chapter of stability and growth.
“We are grateful to our staff who continued to provide high-quality care during this time of change,” Lee added. “Mindy’s leadership and dedication will help us continue to evolve and strengthen this vital program.”
Hammann officially steps into her new role this month and is already working closely with CSAC leadership and program staff to ensure a smooth transition.
