About Shared Services
Mission: Shared Services Addison County is committed to building a sustainable business support system for the Early Child Care Providers of Addison County by providing the coordination of professional development and offering HR consultation and maintenance and IT services.
Background: Shared Services is a framework or organizational structure that allows the early child care providers in Addison County to pay attention to providing high quality teaching and learning, while at the same time making sure the business and administrative tasks that support a high quality approach are performed well. Shared Services in Addison County is comprised of multiple center or home-based early child care providers that have agreed to share specific costs and resources via a collaborative structure with the goal to pool needs and share resources – including staff, information, skills and funds – in order to improve the long-term capacity to provide high quality care.
What we do: The role of CSAC in Shared Services is to act as the organizational backbone by providing coordination of professional development for the early child care provider staff and leadership, maintenance and IT services, and HR consultation.
