Compliance and Quality Assurance Officer

Seeking full-time Compliance and Quality Assurance Officer.


This is a senior level position at innovative community mental health agency.  Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, ethical standards, and effective clinical care.  Duties include analyzing data and communicating insights, setting direction, developing programs and policies, and participating in risk management efforts.  Conduct investigations, manage grievances and appeals, and respond to incident reports as needed.   Act as the agency’s Privacy Officer.


The ideal candidate will have a background in management in community mental health.  Also essential is the demonstrated ability to achieve results across a wide spectrum of programs and micro-cultures within the organization.  Other requirements include a Master’s Degree in a related field,  knowledge of applicable regulations (like HIPAA, Sarbanes-Oxley, and Stark), experience in administering information privacy laws, strong data skills, and excellent written and oral communication.  Familiarity with Vermont’s Designated Agency system is a plus.
