Adult Outpatient Services

The Adult Outpatient Services Division of the Counseling Service of Addison County truly believes that "We're here to help" when it comes to mental health and substance abuse services in Addison County. We also pride ourselves on our responsiveness to the needs of individuals, families, and our county community. We believe in the wellness of the entire community as well as the individuals which make it up.

We provide both short and long term mental health and substance abuse services to adults, families, children, and adolescents. These services can take place in one of our offices, in a person's home, their school, or another place in the community. Various staff members are trained to provide services in these settings. Staff providing counseling, outreach, assessment, consultation, emergency, psychiatric, and mediation services are all committed to making Addison County a better place to live.

Each family and individual has different needs. We tailor our services to meet these needs. Needs may range from short term individual, family, or group counseling in an office setting to a youth or family who needs "wrap around" services which may provide individual counseling/support, family counseling, and parenting strategies.

Some consumers engage our services on their own in a planned way to meet a personal need or accomplish a life goal. Some are referred to us by physicians, human service workers, school counselors, courts, clergy, or family friends. Others may need to access us in an emergency. All Outpatient Services can be reached through our main number, 388-6751. Our 24 hour Emergency Services can be reached at 388-7641.
